As a professional in IT, I always wanted to build a solution where it can be helpful for the public. In the year 2017, I decided to start with something small which is building a community hub for Koreans who are living in Edmonton. Koredmonton is a combined word of Korea and Edmonton. I like the fact that it also contains the word red as it's one of the colours that is being used in the Korean national flag (Red Devils!). The website is fully active and waiting for more Koreans to join. You can build your own user profile, post stories and images as you do in Facebook. There is also additional bulletin board space where people can share stories, experiences, tips and tricks and useful information.
